It All Began With Football ...

In 2019, the Super Bowl committee and the City of Atlanta did outstanding work in the communities leading up to the Super Bowl, yet never intended for the work to continue after its conclusion.

Realizing there is an opportunity and inspired by the 2019 Super Bowl community work, Jesse D. Andrews of Atlanta, Georgia founded Atlanta Regional Foundation to fulfill the needs of organizations, private and public companies, and individuals in ways large communities foundations can't assist.

Jesse took the torch carried by so many Atlantans and began the journey to bring the slogan "Let's Do Good Together" to life. The organization began to take form, becoming a trusted philanthropic partner with individuals, families, and businesses in the region of more than 2+ million people with the goal of ensuring that the greater Atlanta area has the necessary resources to invest in programs that address social and environmental needs.
